Dr. Dipak Kumar Maiti is an internationally respected academic leader, aerospace engineer, and innovation advisor with more than three decades of distinguished experience in advanced research, aerospace engineering, and global academic leadership. He currently serves as HAL Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India, and previously served as Head of the Department from 2016 to 2019.

Dr. Maiti earned his Ph.D. in Aerospace Structures, M.Tech., and B.E. with First Class Honors from IIT Kharagpur. His research expertise includes aerospace structures, aeroelasticity, smart materials, vibration control, structural health monitoring, computational mechanics, and hypersonic systems. He has published over 500 peer-reviewed journal papers, conference proceedings, technical reports, and edited volumes with internationally recognized publishers including Springer, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, AIAA, and ASCE.

His research leadership has contributed significantly to nationally strategic aerospace and defense programs in collaboration with organizations such as ADA, DRDO, ISRO, AR&DB, and DST. Dr. Maiti has supervised more than 25 doctoral theses and numerous postgraduate research projects, mentoring future engineers and researchers across academia and industry.

Barrister Teasmiea Rahman Patel is an internationally experienced legal professional, governance specialist, and humanitarian legal advisor with over 15 years of experience in the legal field, including active legal practice in British Columbia and Ontario, Canada. Her work focuses on ethical governance, artificial intelligence regulation, cybersecurity law, human rights, and international compliance in rapidly evolving digital and humanitarian contexts.

She currently serves as Chief Global Legal Advisor to the Universal Humanity Foundation (UHF) Canada and its global ecosystem, including the Universal Global Institute (UGI) Canada and the UHF Global Affiliated Partnership (UGAP™). In this capacity, she provides strategic legal oversight, governance design, and compliance guidance across UHF’s international programs, partnerships, and CPD-UGAP™ Dual Accredited initiatives.

Barrister Patel is also the Chief Executive Officer of BioCybersecurity & International Governance (BIG), a nonprofit, federally registered legal clinic operating on a pro bono basis under the UHF Canada framework. BIG serves as a global platform for legal guidance on AI governance, bio-cybersecurity, digital safety, data protection, and international regulatory alignment, supporting institutions, innovators, educators, and humanitarian actors worldwide.

As a Governance & International Adviser to the President’s Office at UHF Canada, Kristine contributes to governance design, compliance advisory, international program coordination, and global partnership engagement across initiatives related to education, humanitarian development, ethical AI, and international collaboration under the UGAP™ ecosystem. As Head of Universal Global Institute (UGI) Canada, Prof. Bose provides leadership in institutional governance, strategic planning, academic development, and international partnerships. Mr. Sachindra Nath Halder serves as the Senior ASEAN Regional Advisor and Ambassador for the Bangladesh Chapter of UHF Canada and UGI Canada, contributing his extensive experience in governance, media administration, and institutional development to support humanitarian initiatives, international collaboration, and regional partnership development. His role is entirely voluntary, reflecting his lifelong commitment to ethical leadership, public service, and sustainable development.

With more than three decades of distinguished service in the Bangladesh Civil Service (Information General Cadre), Mr. Halder held several senior leadership positions under the Ministry of Information of the Government of Bangladesh. His career included responsibilities in media governance, public communication policy, institutional administration, film and information management, and national publicity coordination. He concluded his government service as Director General of the Bangladesh Film Archive in 2018 after also serving as Additional Director General at the National Institute of Mass Communication.

Beyond government service, Mr. Halder has remained actively involved in professional and civic leadership through various national organizations and cooperative initiatives in Bangladesh. Through his advisory engagement with UHF Canada and UGI Canada, he supports Bangladesh–ASEAN cooperation, ethical governance, international education, public communication, and humanitarian partnership initiatives, helping strengthen cross-border collaboration and sustainable global engagement.

Jessie’s commitment extends beyond borders—she has volunteered with Rachel’s Kids, traveling to Sri Lanka in 2016 to distribute essential supplies to communities in need.
