Our Governance Philosophy

As the governance and CPD operating arm of the Universal Humanity Foundation (UHF) Canada, UGI ensures that all programs, partnerships, and global initiatives within the UHF Global Affiliated Partnership (UGAP™) ecosystem adhere to rigorous quality standards and humanitarian values.

Governance Structure

The governance system is composed of four core bodies, each with a defined mandate to maintain operational excellence and global alignment.

1. UHF Canada Board of Directors

The Board provides overarching governance and strategic oversight for UHF Canada and all its divisions, including UGI Canada and UGAP™.

Key responsibilities include:

2. UGI Canada Governance & CPD Committee

This committee oversees the development, delivery, and validation of UGI Canada’s CPD Dual Accredited programs, events, and learning tracks.
It ensures that all CPD activities administered by UGI Canada:

  • Maintain clear learning outcomes and assessment criteria
  • Follow evidence, documentation, and verification requirements
  • Adhere to accessibility, inclusion, and quality assurance policies

The committee maintains continuous improvement processes for all CPD programs.

3. Ethical AI & Global Governance Advisory Council

This advisory council supports UGI Canada and UGAP in embedding principles of ethical, responsible, and humanitarian technology across programs and events.
Its guidance covers:

  • Ethical AI policies and best practices
  • Cyber governance, digital safety, and risk management
  • Alignment with emerging global governance frameworks

UGI Canada, operating under UHF Canada, is honored to partner with Belitsoft, an international software engineering and IT solutions company, through a long-term Strategic Affiliated & Full-Service AI–IT Reseller Partnership. This partnership operates under the UGAP™ ecosystem and supports global education, technology, and innovation initiatives.

UGI Canada does not develop or operate its own LMS. Instead, with authority granted by the UHF Board, UGI Canada focuses on administering international accredited partner programs, delivering CPD Dual Accredited programs with global partners, ensuring governance and compliance, and promoting trusted technology providers. Within this framework, Belitsoft is positioned as the Prime AI & IT Partner for all UGAP™ global programs.

Belitsoft supports governments, corporations, universities, institutions, NGOs, and humanitarian agencies through a comprehensive suite of advanced technology services. Their expertise spans custom software development, AI engineering, enterprise systems, cloud and cybersecurity platforms, digital health solutions, fintech automation, eLearning and modernization, mobile/web development, and white-labeled technology products (including JoomLMS as one EdTech option).

UGI Canada oversees the strategic governance, accreditation alignment, reseller operations, partner onboarding, compliance, and promotion of all Belitsoft-supported services within the UGAP™ global network.
